-Week 2-
(I SLAP YOUR DAD) Wigan 0 vs 3 West Brom (xUKx Renegade)
Man of the Match: Meite
Goal Scorers:
Miller 52'
Brunt 86', 90'
Match Description:
Both teams felt rather confident going on to the pitch today as both have had some recent successful results in friendlies across the UK in the past few weeks prior to the season begining.
The fans emotions were lifted, shattered and smashed around the pitch in this end-to-end action thriller. Both sides hit the woodwork in the first half and both team's keepers made some good 1-on-1 saves. From two poorly sided teams, they acted like they was bigger than teams like Manchester United and Chelsea as they gave it their all. Neither team sat back and allowed the other to attack and the conuter-attacker manouvere worked well for them both. As the first half ended it was clear by this time know one was going to defend and go for the 1 point, nor were they going to get a 1-0 lead and sit back on it, as they knew their opponents would of put more pressure on to get a goal.
Possession, shots, tackles, etc...all were almost all entirely even as the teams stepped out on to the pitch to begin the second half.
West Brom became more aggressive and so did Wigan and the play became more tactical and skillful. West Brom's keeper made a nice save and the team made a quick counter attack. Miller and Vassell rushed up front and Vassell made a lovely chipped pass to Miller and Miller looked to controll the ball badly but the ball seemed to be like a magnet to him and he some how managed to get it back inside of the Wigan box. The 6'3 giant burried the ball in to the bottom right hand corner to put his side 1-0 up and leave Wigan asking questions. West Brom's opener was a very lucky goal and neither side saw it coming.
Wigan kept their heads high and battled well for the majority of the second half but West Brom began to edge infront of the stats and eventually took more shots and the majority of possession from Wigan and stuck a second in to the net 4 minutes from time.
Going in to stoppage time West Brom looked to have nailed the game with Brunt's goal, but Brunt wasn't happy and had to please himself by knocking in his second goal in 4 minutes and of the night to secure West Brom's victory.
A very good game from both teams. Anybody could of lead going in to the 2nd half and if West Brom didn't get the luck of the first goal the game could have been shapped very differently.
Good game mate and good luck with the rest of your season. If you play like you did, you should do very well.

Re: Premier league results(SEASON 1)
-Week 3-
(xUKx Renegade) West Brom 4 vs 0 Everton (galwayme)
Man of the Match: D.Vassell
Goal Scorers:
D.Vassell x3
Miller
Match Description:
West Bromwich Albion hosted Everton this week in a game which only can be discribed as heroic. The WBA team always looked confident from the kick-off and played some beautiful, tactical, slow-paced football. Everton had some good chances, only to be denied by West Brom's new keeper, J.Hart.
West Brom tried to defend as much as possible against the Everton attack and Everton may have scored once or twice if they would have shot, but tried walking it in to the net by a cheeky across-the-box pass to ease a goal against WBA. This only happened twice but the Albion defence coped with it well and defended off any possible threat. After the constant defending, West Brom went on the attack and seemed to be scoring a lot of their chances. Vassell was by far the E.On Man of the Match and proved he was to be it by scoring a hat-trick in this "mis-match" thriller.
Going for his 4th goal in the 88th minute, Vassell did some clever footwork and movement, he took the shot on the edge of the box but the Everton keeper parried the ball away quite uncomfortabley to Miller who took a hesitant touch and blasted the ball in to the back of the Everton net to add more insult to injury and send West Bromwich Albion's hopes of staying up in the Premiership this year even higher.
----------
The connection was lost just after making my sub in the 80th minute (Score was 3-0 before the connection was lost, Vassell x3) and we replayed the final 10 minutes and Miller scored WBA's 4th with 2 minutes remaining.
----------
galwayme was a very tough opponent, especially to defend against and a bit of luck may of played in one or two of West Brom's goals, but WBA managed to play slow football and bring Everton down to their game. I'm glad it was a good, fair game with no bookings and no fouls, a perfect, gentlemans game.
Good game mate and good luck with the rest of your season.

Week 4.
Aston Villa 4 - 0 Stoke City
Aston Villa Goals:
A Young
S Sidwell
C Bellamy
E Hesky
A very wobbly start by Aston Villa and could have conceded a earlier goal, after the first 15 minutes, Aston Villa started to play proper football and dominated for the rest of the game, scoring 4 goals.

Week 2.
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Sunderland
Sunderland Goals:
K Jones
C Davies ( OG )
Appalling game, Aston Villa started poor but started to attack more in the second half, Villa failed to score as Sunderland kept passing it around at the back between their 5 defenders. Only one of a few games I'll lose all season. I played appalling.

Bookings:
N.Belhadj 45' - Portsmouth
Y.Kaboul 47' - Portsmouth
N.Belhadj 52' (Straight Red) - Portsmouth
D.Agger - Portsmouth
Match Description:
A very dirty game for Portsmouth. Whenever West Brom were through no goal the Portsmouth defence would just lunge for the player, disregarding the ball altogether. The majority of the 2nd half was full-sided WBA vs a 9-man Portsmouth and them 2 reds proved woeful for Portsmouth as WBA ran rampant over them. Vassell put West Bromwich Albion ahead in the 75th minute and his glory was short ended as Pele equalised minutes later. West Brom switched in to all-out-attack mode and felt that if they was going to go down, they didn't want to leave knowing they didn't give it their all. The entire squad pushed up and the new tactics payed off as within the 13 minutes left West Brom netted themselves 4 more goals! To be fair the goals were tap-ins and with half a defence, Portsmouth didn't need excuses for the lack of effort and the ability to even care.
Miller was injured twice during the match, Vassel once and Borja Valero was injured and was subbed off for C.Brunt.

Newcastle 0 - 5 Tottenham
Bent x5
Defoe
Lennon
Newcastle played 75 mins of the game with 10 men after Aurelio was sent off for hacking down Bent when thru on goal.
This became a regular thing with spurs on top throughout the whole game. Unlucky not add more.
GG and GL for rest of your games
I will take it that you meant bent got 3.
